With two little girls, you might be under the impression that it’s easy to keep a clean and orderly house. That because they’re girls they’re prissy and don’t make messes.
These girls are rough and tumble. The prospect of a mess doesn’t slow them down in the slightest. Food doesn’t always end up in their mouths and shoes unfortunately find their way onto the counter.
Add to that a slobbery, always shedding bulldog and I’ve got my work cut out for me.
For years I’ve been using a dishcloth to clean up spills and messes and then sanitize everything with an alcohol/water mix. This fall Bounty challenged me to take the Ditch and Switch challenge. They sent me a washcloth and asked me to use it for three days without washing it, then I sent it back to them in an envelope with an ice pack to analyze.
While my results were well below the national average, they were still higher than restaurant and hotel levels that are closely regulated. Aside from wanting a clean kitchen so germs aren’t being spread, it’s also cold and flu season and who knows what else could be lurking on my counters.
My eyes have definitely opened to all of the things hiding on my counters. I’m relieved to find a cleaner, more sanitary way to clean…with Bounty DuraTowel. Now when I’m wiping up a mess, I can just toss out the DuraTowel and grab another one without fear of spreading the original mess from one surface to another.
Bounty exposed my dirty dishcloth and showed me the cleaner way to clean with Bounty DuraTowel, the only cloth-like, durable paper towel that is clinically proven to leave surfaces three times cleaner than a germy dishcloth.* Find out more here!
