Pin Friendly Patio Lights #ProjectAmazing #ad

Four months ago we moved into a new home and I’m a little embarrassed to say that things still aren’t exactly how we want them to be. Big projects aside, we haven’t even fit in time to do all the small things.

In warm climates like Austin, outdoor living space is in high demand! While we have long term goals for an expanded patio and swimming pool, those aren’t quite in our budget yet. Instead we’ve been looking for smaller more affordable ways to make our patio a fun outdoor living space that’s perfect for summer outdoor entertaining.

The big thing here and I’m sure in other parts of the country, is old school patio lights swagged between trees and on pergolas, so a few weeks ago I picked up several boxes of Edison-style patio lights. But since then they’ve just been sitting in the box.

Busy schedules aside, my husband is just not the type to arbitrarily put holes in the wall. Even four months into our new house, the only holes that have been drilled are for curtain rods to block the sun from blasting through our windows and the TV.

But last week I started seeing all of these amazing summer project ideas and realized there may be a solution to our problem. I get my lights hung and an have an upgraded summer outdoor entertaining space, while he doesn’t have to drill holes because Command™ Brand products offer damage-free hanging solutions for all of your summer projects. Items can be hung securely in place but remove cleanly without affecting the surface.

Just check out how easy it is for summer outdoor entertaining with this easy patio light tutorial!

Step 1 Command Hook Prep #ProjectAmazing #ad

First, wipe down the area you’ll be applying the Command™ clear hooks or  Command™ hooks.

Then, apply the Command™ product according to the package instructions. We used the Command™ hooks with the wire portion to hold the extension cord and the clear hooks to hold the light strands.

Simply, slide the light strand through the Command™ clear hook and you’re ready for some summer outdoor entertaining!

Great news! You no longer have to search all over Walmart for these 3M products. Command™ and Scotch® products are now available in the crafting aisle. While it was easy to spy the Command™ products in the craft aisle, finding the craft aisle took a little hunting as our store recently reset and shifted things around. Don’t fear: the products you need for your summer outdoor entertainment project are there!

Do you have any other summer outdoor entertaining uses for the Command™ products?

Here in AZ, we have stucco walls which are virtually impossible to nail through and cause a bunch of damage. So, this is brilliant! Totally want to try this! #client

Fun! I always struggle with not being able to hang anything outside because I don't want to damage the stucco walls. This is such an easy and inexpensive solution! #client

Those hooks are the best! I put them up on our porch for Christmas lights and reuse them all year for decorations.

We love Command hooks! And they really do come off easily, unlike some other brands. The patio lights look great!
