I have a confession to make – I’m secretly a closet hoarder. You probably can’t tell it by looking at me or even visiting my home but in my bedroom is my secret stash. And in all honesty, I think everyone has at least one thing that they hoard – something that they can’t rid of and hang onto.
For me this item is possible scrapbooking inspiration and materials. Preserving memories through photographs and keepsakes is something I learned from my mom and haven’t been able to shake. Because whenever I go some on a trip or there’s an important event I want to remember, I start taking tons of photos and collecting lots of other items to compliment the photos and remember the event or destination. For me, the items always vary but can be anything from a receipt to a matchbook, to a travel brochure.
I know there are worst things that I could be collecting but at some point I need to actually get these items into a scrapbook and out of boxes. In an effort to both clear the boxes of clutter and preserve memories in a more acceptable form – a scrapbook – I’ve started looking into tools I can use to make my scrapbooks beautiful and unique. My newest scrapbooking contraption is the Sizzix Big Shot Machine from Overstock.com.
With the Sizzix Big Shot Machine, I can create die cuts of different shapes and letters to decorate and accentuate my scrapbooking pages. The machine is so easy to use and can be used with any of the other Sizzix products. The great thing about this machine is it’s not just a scrapbooking tool, you can also make your own cards (money saver), and use it to embellish clothing, jewelry, and your home decor. This is such a handy multipurpose product for all of the crafters out there.
Buy It: The Sizzix Big Shot can be purchased directly from Overstock.com for $66.24.
