  2. Meanwhile, melt butter over medium-high heat and saute butternut squash until tender but firm.
  3. Add onion and continue cooking until onion is browned.
  4. Set squash/onion mix aside.
  5. In the same skillet, brown sausage and sprinkle with salt pepper.
  6. Then combine all ingredients in skillet and serve!
