Cocktail Recipes for Moms

These cocktail recipes for moms were sponsored by BravoTV.

Have you ever felt like the girl that just didn’t fit in? Like the odd mom out?

I have – living in an affluent Austin community, I totally relate! I’m the mom that while I may live near you and our kids might go to the same schools, I’m still a little off. Instead of wearing head to toe designer clothes, I’m me and not constantly striving (or I try not to) to have more. I even drive a truck – not an SUV, a full sized F-150!

It look several years of living in this area to find my people. I made the wrong assumption that everyone else was so put together, confident, and out of my league. I still feel like an odd mom out, but less so since I know that there are awesome, authentic people living amongst these in the wealthy income band.

Bravo created a new scripted comedy called Odd Mom Out with a central character just like us in mind! Jill is a New York City mom of 3 and from the start you can she’s just not like the other moms. I had the opportunity to get a sneak peek of the premier and my first laugh came only minutes into the show when while attending a gala for prospective school, the headmistress reveals that her daughter says she likes tattoos and dance parties in her underwear.

Check out the Odd Mom Out trailer and make sure to tune in for the premier on June 8 at 10p ET on Bravo! It’s cheap therapy – a crash course in being comfortable with yourself in the extreme NYC conditions!

But don’t watch Odd Mom Out alone, have a girls night in and enjoy it with a fun cocktail like these!
