Easy Chocolate Covered Frozen Bananas Recipe
Easy Chocolate Covered Frozen Bananas
- 4 bananas
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut or canola oil
- 4 popsicle sticks or skewers
- assorted crushed nuts or candies to top optional
Mix chocolate chips and oil in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for approximately 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Line a baking sheet with wax or parchment paper. Place a popsicle stick or skewer into the end of each banana.
Next, dip the bananas into the melted chocolate allowing the excess chocolate to drip back into the dish before moving to the baking sheet. Or if you're going to use toppings, sprinkle these on before placing on the baking sheet.
Stick the baking sheet into the freezer until chocolate is set about 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.
