Even as a parent, I know there’s a reason people hate being next to kids on a plane. Depending on age, they can be loud, rude, annoying, or all of the above.

So let me tell you if you’re on a plane and there’s obnoxious crying, whining, tantrums, or loud noises. It won’t be my kids that are to blame. They won’t be the ones kicking your seat or talking super loud. And they most definitely will not be the ones blasting their devices at full volume annoying everyone around them. 

When I’m traveling, with my family or solo, I put on headphones. For my own sanity and to not bother the other passengers. I don’t want to hear what you’re listening to and I doubt you want to listen to what I am either. 

The same goes for my kids. I don’t even want to hear what they’re listening to. No matter how we’re traveling, if my kids have devices they have headphones on as well.
