Summer Villa Premier on the Hallmark Channel

This post on the Summer Villa premiere on the Hallmark Channel has been compensated.

St John Trunk Bay Beach

What’s your happy place? That continual place in your mind you envision when you want to escape. Or, think about retirement. Or, envision for your next vacation.

While I love to travel all over the world and experience new places, hands down, my happy place is the beach. I can center myself and find calm and peace without the anxieties of normal day-to-day life while sitting in a beach chair or laying on a towel gazing out at beautiful waters and listening to the sound of the waves crash.

There’s a lot I want to see and do when I think of travel. But I recognize my limitations and the lifestyle that my husband and I have created for ourselves. We’ll drive or fly wherever our heart desires, but you won’t find us moving nonstop. Instead, you can find us relaxing 90% of the time, keeping “busy” 10% of the time, and partaking in the local food scene 100% of the time.

Even in summer when we should slow down and enjoy the slower pace without the rigid schedules of the school year, somehow we find ourselves over scheduling – moving from place to place, not wanting to miss out on anything. Anxious to suck up every ounce of summer we can grasp before it’s gone.

But keeping up with that pace for any amount of time requires stamina and a large budget. For those times when you want to keep going, but simply can’t, or choose not to because you’re one of the few that can recognize and appreciate your limitations…the Hallmark Channel is offering an escape.

Throughout July and August, the Hallmark Channel will be releasing the original movies Summer Villa, For Love and Honor, My Summer Prince, Managing Manhattan as well as the Kitten Summer Games, and the new original TV series, Chesapeake Shores.
