Tracking PixelGet ready to take things to the next level. Learn how to use Russell Brunson's Traffic Secrets to grow your business.

Thank you to Russell Brunson and his new book Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers for sponsoring this content, all opinions and experiences are my own.

As an entrepreneur and small business owner, I'm always learning. I spend time every day trying to find new and improved ways to grow my business.

Those that say they don't have time for business development and continued education are really saying they don't have time to learn ways to make more money. You don't know what you don't know, so gaining knowledge from others is key. Even if you only get little nuggets of insight, that's more than you had before you began.

How I learn these new tactics vary but something can be said for diversifying how you get your information. From networking with other entrepreneurs in Facebook groups and listening to podcasts to watching YouTube videos on how to use new apps and reading business books there's so much information out there to be consumed.

I'm guilty of spending too much time on Facebook networking, scrolling through the posts, listening to the podcasts, and otherwise just absorbing information but never actually doing anything with that knowledge. From talking to other entrepreneurs I know this happens far too often.

It's easy to fall into the habit of consuming information and failing to implement any of it. Or to implement any of it in a way that can be measured and convert.

Accumulating all of that knowledge and know-how feels like you're doing something to further your business. But in reality, just learning new things and not executing any of these tactics is a form of procrastination.

My latest business development book forced me to take what I was learning and actually apply it. What started out as a business book that I planned on leisurely reading and implementing turned into an intense exercise into transforming my small business. It was my beach read on our vacation but went even beyond that. I'm now in a small book club with this as our first read!

The book is Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers by Russell Brunson. In it, entrepreneur Russell Brunson reveals the specific, time-honored techniques that will help you stay ahead of the trends and visualize opportunities that aren't yet visible to everyone else.

Brunson knows that the biggest problem a lot of entrepreneurs have isn’t creating an amazing product or service; it’s finding a way to get your product in front of the people that want to buy or use it. He challenges you to dig deep. Way deeper than you ever have before in order to really find your customer and identify exactly how to get in front of them.

In the past, when I've been challenged to identify and describe my ideal reader, I described someone just like me. She's a wife and a mom that wants to live her best life.

Brunson challenges you to name your reader and get very clear about who she is. Ok so she's a wife and a mom, but how old is she? Does she live in a big city or in suburbia? Does she work outside the home or is she a homemaker?

After figuring all of that out, I can start figuring out what her pain points are. By identifying what issues cause her pain and what problems she needs to solve, I can begin to create content that helps her and solve her problems.

She becomes my ideal audience. She's loyal and engaged. I'm not throwing various content in front of her hoping that she'll read it. She will read it because I'm writing the content she wants and needs.

Over the course of this 30 day Traffic Secrets challenge, I've been working to get a clearer idea of who my ideal reader is so I can talk directly to her. To make her feel seen, heard, and give her the content that she's looking for.

If you're looking for a way to grow your business and traffic, I encourage you to check out this book. Order your copy of Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers here!
