I love me some Tex Mex. All the rich, spicy, flavorful combinations always do me in. Something as simple as store bought tortilla chips are instantly elevated when you whip up a homemade salsa or guacamole to serve with it.
Since the weather is so temperate here in Austin, we do a lot of entertaining year round. Even when it’s sweltering outside and the temps are over 100, you can still find people dining al fresco at restaurants and having backyard BBQs. Us included.

Best Fruit Salsa Recipe Ever!
- 1/2 red onion diced
- 2 cups watermelon diced
- 2 cups pineapple diced
- 2 mangos diced
- 1/3 cup cilantro
- 2 limes juiced
Large Size For Groups:
- 1 red onion; diced
- 1 whole small seedless watermelon; diced
- 1 whole pineapple; diced
- 3 mangos; diced
- 1 cup cilantro; chopped
- 4 limes; juiced
Dice red onion, watermelon, mango, and pineapples.
Place in a large bowl, tossing well.
Squeeze juice from limes and mix in with cilantro.
Top over pineapple fruit salad and toss well.
Place in refrigerator until you're ready to serve.
