It seems like only yesterday, Cakes was crawling around in her first pair of the iconic OshKosh overalls. The same style overalls that I was crawling around in at about her age! How is it that in a little more than a week she’ll be starting kindergarten? I’m experiencing so many mixed emotions right now that I’m not really sure how I’m going to fare when the big day actually starts.

To keep my mind off things and ensure I’m not completely overwhelmed in the days leading up to school, I’ve busied myself purchasing school supplies and clothes to ensure Cakes is ready for this momentous occasion. One of the (many) perks of having two girls is being able to use the same clothes for each of them. Kids can be messy and a little careless with their clothes, so in my experience of being able to use the same items for two different only works if you buy quality clothes. Less reliable, off brands aren’t always made as well and can’t hold up to the whims of little ones.

But just because you want great quality clothes, doesn’t mean you have to pay astronomical prices. Brands like OshKosh and Carter’s are staples for my girls because they’re always on point with the latest styles and hold up so well. Last month I had the opportunity to attend a virtual style briefing with some of the awesome people behind OshKosh and a sneak peek on the Fall Trends & Must Haves for Back to School before I did any shopping.

1. Girls Tunics & Leggings Collection: an amazing ability to mix and match all of the prints and patterns. I love that these soft, comfortable pieces are age appropriate. Three new colors of sparkly leggings this season!

2. Camo: fun print for girls, boys, and babies!

3. OKO (OshKosh Original) Tees: designed by designers in New York City these tees are soft, colorful, and fun! For girls the trend this season is hearts and stripes graphics and for boys dinosaurs and monster trucks. These are a doorbuster item and only $5-6!

4. Girls activewear: being comfortable and able to move around easily is so important. The recently expanded line at OshKosh which includes skirts and tees. Inspirational messaging pops of neon, glitter, and fun attitudes!

5. Denim: this classic never goes out of style and is on sale for $10 and $12 in OshKosh stores right now!

Cakes had so much choosing six new pieces to help her start kindergarten in style! I love how much easier our mornings will be with mix and match pieces and that it was just over $50 for all six pieces above!
