Like most moms, I’d way rather spend my time cooking than cleaning. And cleaning after I’ve cooked? Even worse! I fail at the art of cleaning as I go so there’s usually a sink and/or countertop full of dishes when I’m done.

Over the years I’ve come up with some suggestions for the fastest and easiest way to clean kitchen appliances around.

Clean as you go. I’m going to assume you’re better at this than I am and if you do this, you’ll spend a lot less time cleaning in a single session.
Go from the top down. As with most cleaning you’re going to want to clean this way so that anything that falls (hello, gravity) won’t dirty up something you’ve already cleaned.
Simplify cleaning materials. Don’t spend a ton of money on a bunch of different cleaners. Instead, choose a few key products that can work all over your home. Not just kitchen or bathroom specific. Vinegar and baking sodas are great, inexpensive choices that are versatile but if making your own cleaner isn’t your thing, glass cleaner and multi-purpose cleaner should get most cleaning done.
