Shopping List

These are the things you’ll need from the store before you begin making them.

• Oreos (for St. Patrick’s Day, use Mint Oreos) 
• Green Candy Melts (you could also use Ghiradelli Melting Wafers)
• White Melting Chocolate (you could also use white chocolate chips or food coloring)
• Green and White Sprinkles

How to Make Chocolate Covered Oreos

Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at 50% power for 30 seconds at a time until melted.

Dip the Oreo halfway into the melted chocolate and lay on a sheet of waxed paper or parchment paper. Pull the cookie out of the chocolate coating quickly to prevent it from dripping.

If the chocolate drips down the sides of the bowl, you can use wet paper towel to clean it up.

Lightly coat the top of the Oreo sandwich cookie dipped in chocolate with colorful sprinkles while the chocolate is still warm.

Let the chocolate set for 20 minutes at room temperature, then serve.
