Vacation Sick Kit for Kids

I have been busy planning our family vacations for this summer, we have a little beach getaway coming up so I've been making sure my car kit is stocked, buying last minute summer necessities like bug spray and sunscreen and checking my first aid kit.

This summer I will be adding a new kit to our packing list. It's not your run of the mill first aid kit, it is a specialized sick kit for kids, for more than your scraped knees and sunburns. This emergency kit is for when your littles get sick while on vacation. After this happened last year and I found myself running out to find what I needed for a vomiting toddler and feverish preschooler, I decided I would be more prepared for traveling with munchkins.

The very best tips for packing an emergency kids sick kit for vacation and traveling in case your babies get sick! A must read for moms!!

This kit is super easy to put together. Truth be told I hope I never have to use it, but I know it will be invaluable if we should have sick kids on vacation again. Here's the items we can't live without.

An antihistamine for allergic reactions and to slow runny noses so allergies don't turn into ear or sinus infections. Gripe Water for all tiny tummy ailments. A friend of mine recommended this and our lives were forever changed, well at least our tummy aches were. Always two kinds of fever reducers/pain relievers so you can alternate to break fevers. A thermometer of course and we pack rags to use as cool compresses in the event of high fever.

My son's fevers have always run really high so we usually have to use fever reducers and compresses to lower them. And finally I learned with my daughter that we must have probiotics and electrolytes at all times. I throw all of these items in a tupperware because it's compact, won't spill out in your car or suitcase and doubles as a throw up bucket!

All the ideas you need to be prepared for vacation with children and creating a sick kids kit for your travel this summer! Last summer when my babes got sick on our vacay, we were pretty far from a town with a decent pharmacy so I had to drive a few towns over to get them relief and finding a kids probiotics was out of the question. My sweet girl threw her guts up, then I had to wait a week to get a probiotic in her. The doctor told me she would have healed much quicker with a probiotic and I should have had them on hand. I always do now.

Recently I found a brand new probiotic from a brand I have always trusted, Little Remedies® New Probiotic Plus Electrolytes.

Little Remedies makes the most convenient children's probiotics plus electrolytes!

I have always used Little Remedies products on my children because they are a brand I trust, with safe ingredients that actually work. It's the perfect option if you're concerned with giving your babies the very best, especially when they're sick or recovering.

Little Remedies New Probiotic Plus Electrolytes supports your little one's digestive health, which is so important!* It contains 5 billion active cultures to support their immune systems, electrolytes to hydrate, is gluten-free, has no artificial flavors, dyes or parabens, has a yummy berry flavor and is the only pediatric product that contains probiotics and electrolytes in one packet!*

Super convenient, I am always having to try to find something yummy to hydrate my babes with while sneaking in probiotics. This makes it really easy and cuts down on packing products in my vacation sick kit for kids!

Best tips for the best sick kids kit for your summer family vacations to be prepared for anything!

I hope this sick kit just sits in your suitcase or car and you never have to use it and I hope that for me too! But let's face it, kids get sick, a lot and at the most inopportune times. So vacation seems about right doesn't it?! #momlife But if you grab these essentials, then at the very least you will be prepared. You will be able to give your babies some relief and quicker healing.

Head on up to Target and get everything you need. From now until May 14th when you buy one Little Remedies product, you get a $5 Target gift card so that's a win-win. And follow
